There is no right or wrong natural behavioural profile, but some might say there are right or wrong values.

What is a Behavioural Profile?

Behavioural profiles, Job Seekers ProfileJanuary 16, 2019Daryl Keeley

Simply put it’s a profile of a person’s most likely behaviour.

It’s HOW they go about solving problems.

It is their style if you like.

We accrue habits over our lifetime. This is our toolkit we reach for when stressed or without thinking. These habits are our NATURAL behavioural profile.

Compare Donald Trump to Mother Teresa or Shane Warne to Ian Thorpe. These are four people that have distinctively different natural behavioural profiles.

There is no right or wrong natural behavioural profile, but some might say there are right or wrong values. Values are WHY we go about doing the things we do. Saddam Hussein, Donald Trump, Steve Jobs and Michael Jordan have/had the same dominating natural behavioural profile, but different personal values.

With some education we can adapt the way we respond to problems by choosing the most appropriate behaviour for the circumstance at hand. This is our ADAPTED behavioural profile. Some may call this emotional intelligence.

In the workplace, we may adapt to survive and this can be stressful in the long term if we have to maintain that state. This can result in sick days, resignations and bad performance.

Perform Zone runs leadership workshops that teach you how to spot the different types of natural behavioural profiles in others. Knowing this you can then tailor your communication style to get the best from them and minimise arguments.
